Lile Art Gallery on Historic Route 66

In the heart of Amarillo’s Historic District, on the original placement of Route 66, is one of the most unique art galleries and  tourist information centers in the U.S.A. It’s also the exclusive home of Cadilite jewelry, beautiful creations set with colorful, shaped and polished  pieces of paint from the Cadillac Ranch.

The proprietor of Lile Gallery at 2719 SW 6th Avenue in Amarillo, Texas is none other than Bob “Crocodile” Lile, a noted Route 66 tour guide and historian, as well as an accomplished artist.

Along with his 4-legged sidekicks, Lady and Zeek Lile, Bob welcomes tourists from around the world, with a friendly atmosphere,  a cold drink and the answers to anything you’d like to know about America’s “Mother Road”. You’ll also find a plethora of Rt. 66 memorabilia and a wonderful selection of artwork by “Croc” and others.
